Father and Son Take on Parkinson's

At age 63, and living with Parkinson’s disease, Mike Solomons has decided to take on an extraordinary challenge: climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest freestanding mountain in the world, to raise funds for Parkinson’s research.

Together with his son Joel (32), Mike will attempt to summit the 5,895-metre peak as part of a fundraising initiative called “Peak for Parkinson’s.”
